Henry Chinasky – Charles Bukowski’s alter ego hero, is still young, just entering real life before he begins his journey through all of his author’s novels. Before us, he takes to the stage to laugh with his savage sense of humor, overcoming the memories of his difficult childhood caused by his father. Through the mask of his irony and cynicism, Henry opposes the world that oppresses him, in which he has had to cope on his own since childhood… He ridicules everything that every teenager faces – unrequited loves, problems in the family, struggle for daily life, creative urges, dreams of a bigger life, struggle with the system that constantly tries to suck us up… Self-ironic about himself and his aspirations, causing laughter from his viewers, Henry manages to overcome the melancholy of everyday life and the heavy blows inflicted from his father. Without sparing anything of what he feels and thinks.
